THE FULL STORY
A Lifetime of Sound
Like many audio professionals, I've been recording music and experimenting with capturing audio since my early childhood.
During my tenure at University of Waterloo studying Computer Science, I kept the audio flame alive recording multiple original compositions. After graduation, I ventured into the world of Software working at many great companies, most notably Wealthsimple. I gained a wealth of technical knowledge and was blessed with the opportunity to work on technology that I believed made the world better. It was an amazing experience, and I was still recording music and sounds from my travels but...
Something was not quite right - I heard the call to move towards something new.
So in a leap of faith I enrolled to OIART - for audio recording technology. It was the best decision I've ever made.
Since graduating, I've produced over 200 podcasts, over 175 sound effects, served audio on multiple TV broadcasts, did end-to-end audio production on multiple film/advertisements, coded my own EQ, and oh yes - I still play music!
Currently I'm working at Voices helping Voice Actors and Content Creators be more successful. I do this through intentionally creating useful content for people in this space.
